Why don't you...

If you're like me, even your most incredible clothes become boring after a while. Somehow though, you always love your friends' old clothes. If you're faced with this issue, try throwing a clothes-swap party! Have all of your friends bring items from their closets that they're tired of and trade for fun new items from other girls' collections.

Why don't you plan a Summer trip to the gorgeous Spanish beach town of Marbella this summer?

This weekend, if you're bored in Dallas, you should go to the Lone Star Bazaar (10724 Garland Road) to find cool accessories and other fun things.

It's time to clean out your closet and get some extra cash for it too!  Use that little extra pocket money to buy new clothes or treat your friends for lunch! Try selling your old designer duds to consignment stores in your neighborhood, you'll be surprised at how much money you'll make.

It's time to clean out your closet and in these tough economic times, we could all use some extra cash. We all have clothes in our closet that we're sick of, or just don't wear anymore. Try selling your old designer duds to a local consignment store. You'll be surprised how much they're worth!

If you have some extra time this weekend, you should try Sophia Loren's recipe for Tiramisu. I made this delicious dessert over the Thanksgiving Holiday and really enjoyed it!

Here's What You'll Need:
  • 3 eggs (separated)
  • 5 tablespoons sugar
  • 6 ounces Mascarpone Cheese
  • about 36 Ladyfingers
  • 1 cup orange liqueur
  • 1 cup espresso coffee (regular coffee works fine too)
  • 2 ounces bitter chocolate (grated)
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
Here's How to make it:
  1. Combine egg yolks and sugar in a medium-sized bowl and beat well.
  2. In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites to stiff peaks.
  3. In a third, larger bowl, combine the egg yolk mixture with the mascarpone, then fold the egg whites to produce a creamy mixture.
  4. Arrange a tight layer of ladyfingers in a 9-by-12-inch serving dish.
  5. Using a spoon, drizzle about half the liqueur and half the espresso over the ladyfingers.
  6. Cover the ladyfingers with the mascarpone mixture and the grated chocolate, and dust it with a little more than half the cocoa.
  7. Cover the filling with a second layer of ladyfingers and drizzle with the remaining liqueur and espresso.
  8. Place the dish in the refrigerator for at least 12 hours, but no more than 24.
  9. Serve and enjoy!

If you're in San Jose this weekend and have some free time, try hitting up the San Jose Flea Market! Flea Markets are always fun for finding great jewelry and accessories, as well as fun vintage clothes. Plus, the San Jose Flea Market has been ranked among the 10 best flea markets in the world by Travel Magazine!

Yesterday I started a diet with the goal of fitting in a Dior Haute Couture size 34 by saturday (hey, a girl can dream... right?) Anyway, I know that I realistically can't lose that much fat in 5 days, but I've been shedding pounds of water weight. I've been replacing 2 meals a day with fruit juices and smoothes and I've been replacing my third meal with a plate of fresh veggies! It's been working very well! You should try it too!

If you have any extra time this weekend, you should try making this incredible body scrub that I've been making for a while now. It's very abrasive, so if you have sensitive skin, I wouldn't recommend it.

Here's what you'll need:
1 pound granulated sugar.
1 medium-sized container of honey (a cheap one will work)
1 bottle of cheap body wash from a drugstore
1 jar with a lid large enough to hold completed scrub

Here's how to make it:

1. Pour about half of the pound of sugar into a large mixing bowl.
2. Empty the entire container of honey into the bowl.
3. Mix the sugar and the honey until you have a paste-type mixture. (you can use an electric mixer for this step.)
4. Pour the entire bottle of body wash into the bowl and mix it with the sugar/honey mixture. (you can use an electric mixer for this step.)
5. Pour the remainder of the sugar into the bowl and mix until it is a thick, grainy paste. (you can use an electric mixer for this step.)
6. Using a large spoon, transfer the mixture into the jar and store in your shower.

Here's how to use it:
In the shower, before you've shaved your legs, use your hands to rub the scrub, in circular motions, onto your entire body. Rinse off.
After you've shaved your legs, they will feel softer than they have ever felt before.

If you have some extra time this weekend, why don't you buy some pearls and ribbon and make a necklace like this LANVIN one? I think it's really cute and would probably be really easy to make!

If you're in L.A. today and not busy, you should head over to the CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN store at South Coast Plaza to meet my personal hero, Mr. Louboutin himself. I met him two years ago at Barney's in Beverly Hills, and he truly is an amazing man.
