Over the years, I have collected about five or six of these Louis Vuitton Pochettes in different patterns.
I used to wear them as handbags, then demoted them to make up bags and then stopped using them all together.
Recently though, I came across a few of them buried in dust bags on shelves in my closet. I pulled them out and decided to put them to use. I have found them so useful, that I've even added to my collection.
I use the different patterns to organize different things. The Monogram Canvas holds my checkbook and wallet, the Multicolored one keeps my make-up, the Stephen Sprouse Grafitti one holds my pens and pencils, etc.
Last night I realized how amazing these little babies really are when a friend called and asked me to go to a club where she had planned to meet a friend. I didn't have time to change, so I decided to just go in my daytime outfit. I didn't find it necessary to lug my entire huge handbag inside. I considered just leaving my handbag in the car, but realized that I needed a place to keep my keys, money, lipstick, etc. I simply pulled one of the pochettes out of my bag, emptied it out and filled it with everything I needed. It worked out perfectly.
(between $300-$500)
This bag is truly an investment as you will constantly find new ways to use it.
